Mylea W. Hunter, DDS, MS

Dr. Mylea Hunter attended the University of Southern California where she first received a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene and went on to graduate with her Doctorate in Dental Surgery.  Dr. Hunter then completed her advanced specialty training in Periodontics at USC.  She also obtained her Master of Science degree on her research pertaining to biomedical implants and tissue engineering, which won an advanced specialties research award amongst all the USC specialty residents.  Dr. Hunter is a board-eligible periodontist and has held several leadership positions, including functioning as a Board Director for the American Dental Education Association, where she was recognized for innovations in teaching dental students. She has also served as a board member with other dental organizations, including the California Society of Periodontists and the Los Angeles Dental Society.

She grew up in Palm Desert, CA and now resides in Newport Beach where she enjoys spending time with her husband, going to the beach, hiking and yoga.
